Some people just aren’t satisfied with iPhone OS, and to be honest I can’t blame them. With its restrictive development boundaries, sandboxed environments and obvious missing features, its not a surprise some people will do anything for a change.

Technology blog @Engadget is today reporting that after working on a project which involved coding Android to run successfully on his first generation iPhone, Wang has now moved to his iPhone 3G, managing to successfully hack the device to run an almost complete version of Android OS.
Audio support is the last missing piece of the puzzle, but the groundwork has been laid and it too should be ready for some unholy Apple plus Google action within the next few days.
