Many iPhone users also use one or more social network sites daily, so its no surprise there are a lot of apps out there to help you with your daily updates. All of them offer different features and Feathers is just one of them.

Feathers by Naklab Ltd is basically an app to decorate your tweets, facebook updates, emails, anything really that you can paste it to. The user interface for Feathers is amazing, infact recently it was featured in Inspired Magazines 10 Beautifully designed iPhone [UI]tilities and this is how I first came across it.

When you first launch the app you are met with a white blank text area at the top and all your keys to use at the bottom. In the middle are your 3 main keys to help you navigate the app. Style, which determines how you want to write your text words. For example if you want to put your text upside down or maybe decorate it with a few dots or even put every little letter in a tiny circle. There are 17 stylish options to choose from. The next key is a little smiley face which brings you to a vast amount of pictures and icons to use. Far too many to list but to give you an idea you have things like, love hearts, skulls, flowers, musical notes, quotations, logic symbols, horoscopes, to be honest you have a lot to play around with. You can make a great picture on your tweets with them. Finally the last key is your keyboard to write your text.

After you have typed and decorated your latest update, if it is for twitter you can do it direct from the app just by signing in to your twitter account. If you prefer not to or want to use it in facebook or an email then just close the app and it automatically saves it on your clipboard. If you have pastebot it saves it on to there as well. You then just need to go into facebook and paste it in the normal place you would write your update. It really is that easy to use and lots of fun!

Feathers can also be seen on a lot more devices than just your iPhone but do be aware the devices and platforms it does work on varies. Most symbols will show but some still may not be displayed.

Now I know there will be some really serious people out there that are probably thinking why on earth would anyone want to do something so annoying to their tweets and updates. It is just meant for a bit of humour to brighten up your daily updates, a change from your everyday serious side. So if you fancy letting your hair down once in a while have a go. Its a bit of fun and it is a really cool idea.
