  • A Time Capsule: Tim Cook’s Final Note to Apple

There are Apple memos, and then there are Apple memos that feel like they belong in a time capsule.

Tim Cook’s final note to Apple employees as CEO is one of those.

After all the product launches, keynotes, earnings calls, late-night rumours and those wonderfully predictable September moments of “one more thing…” — Cook has reached the end of his time in the CEO chair.

And rather than making the whole thing about himself, his final message is remarkably Apple in its tone: the company, the people and the work come first.

  • Phil Schiller: The Man Who Knew How to Work a Keynote

There are some people at Apple who become synonymous with the products they introduce.

Steve Jobs was one of them.

    Jony Ive was another.

And then there was Phil Schiller — the man who could walk onto an Apple stage, straighten his shoulders, flash that unmistakable grin and somehow make “and now, something really great” feel like the most exciting sentence in technology.

  • John Ternus Is the Right Person to Lead Apple Into It’s Next Chapter

There is something strangely nostalgic about today.

For the first time in 15 years, Apple has a new CEO.

Tim Cook has officially stepped down from the role he took over from Steve Jobs in 2011, becoming executive chairman, while John Ternus takes the reins as Apple’s new chief executive. (Apple)

And while the temptation will be to immediately ask whether Ternus can be the next Steve Jobs, I think that’s the wrong question.

  • Goodbye, Tim: The End of an Apple Era

There are certain moments in technology that feel bigger than the news itself.

    Today is one of them.

On September 1, 2026, Tim Cook officially stepped down as CEO of Apple, bringing an end to almost 15 years at the very top of one of the most influential companies in the world. John Ternus now takes over as CEO, while Tim Cook moves into the role of executive chairman. (Apple)

And, perhaps surprisingly, I’ve found myself thinking less about Apple’s stock price, quarterly results or what this means for the next iPhone.

Instead, I’ve been thinking about RazorianFly.

  • RazorianFly: The Story of a Little Apple Blog That Became Something Much Bigger

There was a time when the internet felt very different.

Before every company had a social media team. Before breaking news travelled instantly through TikTok, Instagram and push notifications. Before every rumour appeared on a dozen websites within seconds.

There was a period when a teenager with an interest in technology, an iPhone and a willingness to spend an unreasonable amount of time online could actually build something.

For me, that something was RazorianFly.com.

  • Apple’s Approach To Damage Control

There’s no doubting that the so called  “locationgate” issue, originally coined to refer to the collecting of location data from an iOS device without the original permission of the device’s owner, has been blown well out of proportion by the media over the last few weeks – and Apple knows this.

That’s why, instead of releasing a statement to clarify the issue immediately, they waited a week.

  • Apple’s Influence On Web Design, 1996 To Present Day

Apple’s influence on web design is apparent, even today.

Pioneers of simplicity — and with the company’s website currently ranked above those of other major corporations, Apple.com is today thought to have one of the most well-designed and desirable layouts the web has ever seen.

But it hasn’t always been this way —
