Ellen Degeneres Apologises to “Mr. Macintosh” (aka Steve Jobs)

Back story: A while ago Ellen created a fake ad for the Apple iPhone 3GS, in which she made out the device was so hard to use, she mistakenly opens Maps instead of Messages, and after several misses on the on-screen keyboard, turns to her glasses for help to send a text.

As noted by Ellen herself, many people found the skit pretty hilarious, that is … except for those big boys up in Cupertino, who reportedly called Degeneres over the matter. Today, she apologised live on The Ellen Degeneres Show.

I think the guys over at @Engadget sum it up nicely:

After watching this video, we’ve come to one conclusion: Apple needs to learn how to take a joke

I thought the whole apology was a skit itself, I can't seriously believe she got a call from Apple over something like that.
