G-Whizz takes everything you love about @Google and condenses it down into one manageable app.
The app gives users the ability to access all Google’s online-based productivity and entertainment sources simply by selecting the relevant service from the provided list.
These services include the likes of Gmail, Reader, Tasks, Calendar, Search, News, Docs, Voice, Talk, Buzz, Picasa, Images, Local, Maps, Shopping, Translate, Books and @YouTube.
The app works simply by grabbing the already iPhone and iPad-optimized web pages provided by Google for each of these services, and displays them in such a way that the user can switch to another service simply by tapping on a specific item tab icon.
While the content within G-Whizz can admittedly be pulled and displayed in Mobile Safari pretty much the same way as seen above, the big plus for G-Whizz is that never before has it been this easy to switch between the services with so little effort. The app, originally $2.99 has dropped to $1.99 for this weekend only! – and with the app being a universal binary, you’ll have your online Google needs sorted for your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
