After news broke that @BoyGeniusReport had unearthed screenshots of what looked like a working video conferencing interface in a future un-released version of iPhone OS, many people said this was only further proving video capabilities are coming to the next-gen iPhone on June 7th.

Today, Apple enthusiasts @AppleInsider are reporting via @Engadget, that a trusted source has confirmed Apple is working on a new set of exclusive adverts for the iPhone, with Academy Award winning director Sam Mendes.

“A trusted source has confirmed to us that the ads will feature at least one spot where a mother and daughter are having a video chat conversation using the new front-facing camera that’s been spied on the face of that iPhone floating around Vietnam and Northern California,”

Further proof has been found on Twitter, as one actor and one actress tweeted they were heading off to an audition, alongside confirming the shoot would eventually be directed by Sam Mendes.

Another interesting tidbit to come out of today’s tip is that it is to be believed Apple’s next generation iPhone supposedly has the codename Mammoth/N90.
